With impressive warehousing and office facilities in Fresno, alongside ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Manager to help build on our success and accelerate our presence across the USA.

Role Purpose
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the USA operation by identifying, securing, and developing profitable customer relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the business market presence while ensuring commercial opportunities align with operational capabilities.
The role's primary objective is to generate new business, secure profitable long-term contracts, maximise warehouse utilisation, and maintain exceptional customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Daily Responsibilities
* Conduct outbound sales calls, prospecting activities, and client visits.
* Respond promptly to inbound enquiries.
* Prepare and issue proposals, quotations, and follow-up communications.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
* Build strong working relationships with operational and warehouse teams.
* Identify customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Weekly Responsibilities
* Research and identify new target customers and industry sectors.
* Arrange and attend client meetings, both virtual and in person.
* Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions as required.
* Review warehousing capacity and service capabilities with operational teams.
* Develop strategic account plans for prospective and existing customers.
Monthly Responsibilities
* Review sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance against targets.
* Analyse lost opportunities and identify areas for improvement.
* Present pipeline updates, sales activity, and new business opportunities during sales meetings.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
* Contribute to commercial planning and growth initiatives.
Target Markets
The role will focus on developing opportunities across sectors that require warehousing, fulfilment, and home delivery services, including:
* Furniture and home furnishings
* E-commerce and online retail
* White goods and appliances
* Outdoor and garden furniture
* Kitchen and bathroom suppliers

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
* Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience managing a sales pipeline and forecasting activity.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
Preferred
* Experience within logistics, warehousing, transportation, fulfilment, home delivery, or supply chain sectors.
* Existing network of contacts within relevant industry sectors.
* Experience selling operational or service-based solutions. CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Travel Requirements
* Regular travel throughout California.
* Occasional travel across the USA as business needs dictate.

Reporting & Accountability
The Sales Manager will report directly to the President of Sales and will be responsible for:
* Weekly activity reporting.
* Monthly sales forecasting.
* Pipeline management and CRM compliance.
* Customer account reviews.
* New business performance reporting.
* Supporting the development and execution of the USA sales strategy.
